Three things about my day:
Uno: Lightening at 7am is awesome because it drove a scared, blonde, sleepy boy into my bed to snuggle and snooze. Lightening at 7:30am is awesome too because it brought his sister in with us. I got to sleep in a bed full of babies this morning- what a great way to sleep in on a rainy day!
Dos: Dressing my daughters is not the party I thought it was going to be. How these moms get their girls in cute little trendy outfits with matching bows and shoes at 4 and 8 years old is a mystery to me- and I am jealous. These dudes have minds of their own and even Emily found the cute things I was holding up ridiculous. How crazy could they have been, we were at Old Navy after all- but regardless they both managed to pick an outfit for the first day of school and we are now home. Not the outfits I would have picked, but cute none the less.
Tres: If you eat chocolate while chewing watermelon bubble gum- you get nothing but a horrible mess. If you have a two year old who does this, you get that horrible mess placed in your hand (thanks Sam!)

Chocolate and watermelon?! Yuck.
Back to school shopping is in full swing, that's for sure. I heard more moms yelling at their kids tonight at Target than I've heard in a long time. Makes me glad we have boys (mostly).
