The story of Jesus' Birth- Preschool Style

"In those days Ceasar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. And everyone went to his own town to register." Luke 2:1-3
"So he (Joseph) went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child." Luke 2:4-5
"While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped in in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn". Luke 2:7
"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:8-11
"This will be a sign to you; you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger" Luke:11
"So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in a manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them" Luke 2:16-18
"After they (the maji) had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was." Matthew 2:9
"When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh." Matthew 2:10-11
"You are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21
Thank you Jesus.

"And a little child shall lead them"............you see it all on Emily's face, don't you?? Trust, belief -- just simple 'faith....hope......charity' -- and once in a great while now, she lets it float up to the surface and it just blows me away!!

Too beautiful......made me tear up.

Thank you......Mom
